Finally have a chance to investigate. This is super weird. The webpage elements have just vanished from the interface, and I haven't done any editing of them or updated the hub version or anything. They still appear to be in the database, with item_deleted = 0 as they should. Still trying to solve this mystery.

Actually, the database records are for the elements imported originally by the admin channel before I imported them into the Hubzilla Development channel. Even if they were deleted by an approved connection (which might be possible but I doubt) they should still exist in the database; they should just have item_deleted = 1. Hmm...

I never solved the mystery of why the page elements vanished. To make it more confusing, my hub snapshots did not restore the pages, even though the snapshot includes both the files in the hub web root as well as the database; since there is no other place that a hub stores information, the only thing I can imagine is that this is some strange clone sync behavior, but I have no tangible evidence to support that.

In any case, I re-created all my changes to the Hubzilla project webpage, but this time I was smart enough to save them to the https://github.com/anaqreon/hubzilla-website/tree/v4 repo so that anyone can import the site using the webpage import tool or contribute to improving it. If this happens again at least we can quickly restore the site using this method.
